Privacy Policy
For the Android build published on Google Play.
Effective date: May 14, 2026
01 — Snapshot
This notice explains how Crosswalk Coop handles information when you install or use our Android application from Google Play. It is meant to align with what we disclose in the Play listing and in Play's Data safety section. If anything here conflicts with an in-app prompt you accepted, the more specific disclosure accompanying that feature controls for that feature.
02 — What we collect
Depending on how you use the app, categories may include:
- Identifiers tied to the device or install, such as play-delivered identifiers used for diagnostics or measurement where permitted.
- Diagnostics and performance signals, including crash traces, startup timing, and coarse interaction counts.
- Preferences you save locally, like UI choices or lightweight progress markers stored on-device unless you opt into backup.
- Support-related details you voluntarily submit if we offer a feedback channel inside the app.
03 — Purposes
We process information to operate Crosswalk Coop, keep sessions stable, measure aggregate reliability, personalize non-sensitive UI defaults you choose, comply with platform rules, and maintain the integrity of the experience. We do not sell personal information.
04 — Partners
We may rely on subprocessors that Google or we engage for hosting, analytics, messaging delivery, fraud screening, or payments when those modules are present in a given release. They receive only what is needed for their service and are bound by agreements requiring appropriate safeguards.
05 — Retention
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including resolving disputes and satisfying legal obligations. On-device storage follows your device settings; server-side logs typically roll off after short retention windows unless a longer period is required.
06 — Security
We use administrative and technical measures suited to the sensitivity of what we handle, including transport protections where information leaves your device and least-privilege access on our side.
07 — Your controls
You can uninstall the app, clear app storage from Android settings, and adjust notification permissions where applicable. Residents of certain regions may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information; submit requests through the channel described in Play if we provide one.
08 — Cross-border processing
Where information is processed outside the country where you live, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or supplier safeguards required by applicable law.
09 — Children
Crosswalk Coop is not directed to children under applicable age thresholds. If you believe information was collected from a child without proper consent, you may use the reporting or listing options available on Google Play so we can address the concern.
10 — Updates
We may revise this policy when features or legal expectations change. Material updates will be reflected here and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or Play listing refresh.
